January 2022 features the first sessions of our new Home Run training series.

These meetups are designed for athletes of all abilities and focus on general running fitness and trail running specific exercises.

We'd love to see you at the first session on 5th January. Carry on reading below to learn more.

What is it?

A fortnightly running club in Hampstead Heath. The club meets on Wednesdays at 7pm (occasionally 7am).

Who is it for?

The sessions are designed for runners of all levels, including beginners. The coach will devise drills and exercises that aren't based on a particular speed or distance, so each runner can push themselves without worrying about one another.

Where is it and how to get there?

We meet outside Parliament Hill Lido, located on the Southside of Hampstead Heath.

You will find Gospel Oak Overground station just a few minutes away or Tufnell Park (Northern Line), a 10-15 min walk.

If you're familiar with CityMapper, click here to check your best route.

When are the first sessions?

We kick off the series on Wednesday 5th January, and fortnightly after that.

What to bring?

Shoes - Most of the trails are hard-packed or paved, however it's' very wet during the winter so we'd recommend light trail shoes or road shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Bag/Jacket - Feel free to bring anything you'll need for after as we will have a bag drop available.

Light - Bring a head torch if you have one. If not, there will be a few available to borrow or you can use the light on your phone.
